Autism tests are screening tools used to assess whether an individual has symptoms of autism spectrum disorder (ASD). However, these tests are not used for diagnosis, but only for preliminary evaluation. A true and definitive diagnosis is made after a comprehensive assessment by a specialist psychiatrist, child neurologist, or clinical psychologist.
